Lana Mae LeRoy

Lana was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on November 17, 1944 to Gladys & Jack Robinson. She graduated from West Fork High School. Lana met Charles LeRoy and they soon married in 1963. They were married for over 30 years and had two beautiful daughters, Kim and Cindy. After a series of moves, they settled in Austin, Texas where Lana resided for over 50 years.

To know Lana, is to love her. She is described by her family and was known by all as an outgoing, spunky and sweet lady. She never met a stranger and was the most thoughtful & giving person. Lana’s true passion was her family. She loved her children dearly & adored her 5 grandchildren. She was the best grandmother, she was so proud of them all and you could often find her bragging about them to everyone. Lana was a giver, caretaker & friend. She was everyone’s biggest cheerleader & her positive energy was contagious. She loved to visit, laugh & go out to eat. Lana was intentional and loving. She never missed a holiday spent with her family and she always sent the most heartfelt birthday & Christmas cards.

She lived her life to the fullest & without regret. She loved all music (especially Elvis), celebrating holidays, Mexican food, shopping, parties & visiting on the phone daily with her sister Rita.

Lana is survived by her two daughters, Kim LeRoy Spaulding (Husband Mike Spaulding) and Cindy Harris. Her sister, Rita Weaver and her brother, Terry Robinson. Her five grandchildren, Shelby Spaulding, Ally Spaulding, Ashley Harris, Ryan Harris and Luke Harris.

A funeral service for Lana will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660 with Mitchell Fairchild officiating. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 3, 2023, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A catered reception will occur Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
