Larry Don Selman, Jr., was born September 15, 1976 at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas to the late Mrs. Isabel Mata (Young) and Mr. Larry Selman, Sr. He was educated in the Pflugerville School District and graduated in 1995. There he played Line Backer & Full Back and he was #40. He furthered his education by attending Cisco College in Cisco, North of Fort Worth, Texas. He was a faithful employee of the Collections Systems Services with the City of Austin for 6 years.
Larry met Candis Garcia in December of 2003 as the smooth "Lorenzo Selman". They dated for 7 years and married in May of 2010 in Kyle, Texas. Lorenzo loved to cook and felt there was no dish, recipe or cuisine that he could not master. Two of his specialty dishes were menudo and seafood gumbo. His love of cooking was enhanced by the joy and smiles that it placed on his family, friends and loved ones faces. Cooking and entertaining others was a highlight of his life. Lorenzo was a huge 49rs fan and loved talking trash about every ones else's team. "How 'bout them Cowboy's?"
