LaVerne Annie Pullin

LaVerne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved all her children and grandchildren. She spent a lengthy career of over 40 years working with Sears Roebuck and spent time volunteering for her church St. Paul Lutheran in Austin, Tx, while also doing volunteer work for St. David’s Hospital also in Austin, and the Good Samaritan Gift Shop. She enjoyed those hours of volunteering and helping others as often as she could. Equally, she enjoyed teaching Sunday School while at the Church as well.

After being a long-time resident of Austin, LaVerne retired and moved to the Marble Falls-Burnet, Texas area where she attended ST. Peters Lutheran Church in Marble Falls.

LaVerne was born in Coupland, Texas on March 2, 1928 to Walter and Lena Preusse and was one of three children. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Lena Preusse and her two brothers Bennie and David Preusse and her husband of over 50 years Roger M. Pullin, and one son Roger L. Pullin.

LaVerne loved her family and adored the time spent with her children and grandchildren and great and great children. She always had time to listen and share.

She is survived by her daughter Eileen Parlett and her husband Duffy from Burnet, Texas along with her son Robert Pullin and his wife Sheryl also of Burnet, Texas. She has four grandchildren, eight great -grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Visitation will be held at Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 N. IH 35, Pflugerville on Monday, February 7, 2022 from 1pm to 2:30pm. Private family services will follow.
