Larry & I shared a 💘 for Garfield(the cartoon) and watching movies.  Every time I look @ my many Garfield 📚 I will eventually 😃 now the 😢 tears are flowing.   

This memory is the most special and near and dear to my heart. It was our Grandparents 60th wedding anniversary and one of the only family photos that almost the whole family was there. This was also the last time I got to spend with Uncle Larry in person. I don't know why in these unfortunate circumstances we have to remember the last time. Like the last time is supposed to have some significance of meaning. I was fortunate to have such a favorable memory of my Uncle for the last one.  Probably the best one I can ask for.   Uncle Larry I love you. You will forever be missed and loved by many. I will forever tell these stories to my second cousins someday.  Zavrina and Kylie it is a deeply unfair that you wont get to know him like we did but I will forever be more than happy to tell you all these fun stories of your Grandpa Over and Over . (I am so sorry if I spelled their names wrong)  Our family dynamic will never be the same with out you Uncle Larry. You have made me laugh so much I know you are already making everyone laugh up there!  Everything action and reaction you took in this world was with love. We all could learn how to be like that more. If I could have been there for you my only wish is that I could take all your pain away and bring you the joy and laughter you brought me all these years . My Love Forever and Always  Your Goddaughter. 

The Best Uncle and Aunt a Niece can ask for!  I remember this trip  in 2005 because it was one of the most saddest times in my life. I had been going through a lot of heartache over a breakup and did not feel myself at all. I will never forget my Uncle Larry was the first male in my family to offer really good advice from the male perspective. He took the time to make me feel cared for and validated. He only made me grow as a person with all the wonderful advice he was able to give me. He contributed  to my  self esteem growing up.  He would only listen and never judge me. I felt like I could open up to him about everything and anything.  He was so real, open, honest and willing to help anyone. I never felt bad around him. I only felt happiness and joy in his presence. Every time I was around him he was never in a bad mood.

Oasis Fun! It was a Summer tradition to always go to this beautiful restaurant if we were in Texas. Our family always had a splendid time going out to dinner with Uncle Larry. Here is one of the only pictures I have of Mandy and I with him.

Here is the most awesome Uncle of all time. Rope swinging it up. My Summers would not have been fun if it wasn't for Uncle Larry. This is how I will always remember him. He truly touched my life in more ways than I could ever express.  I  will cherish these memories forever. He was always there for me.  Fun times or sad.

This is one of my favorite memories of Uncle Larry. He is on the right on the rocks coaching me the way of the rope swing shenanigans !!!

This is at the swimming hole right before we decided we would be the only ones daring enough to do the rope swing. I remember him being surprised that I was gonna take the jump with him! He had a way of making you feel safe even if you had never jumped off  a rope swing before . His sense of adventure will forever live on inside my heart. Whenever I do anything like this I always think of him and smile. We talked about going parasailing one day cause he was taken aback that I would even do something  like that with him. Like I said his sense of adventure was infectious!  

This is one of my favorite pictures of my Uncle and I. This trip to Texas was  in the summer of 2004 at the swimming hole!!!!!!!!One of my best trips there. We both shared a love for having a blast in the water. I have many memories of him like this . 

Like father , Like son.  This was summer 2000.  You could always find Uncle Larry chilling after a hard days work on his big pillow bean bag watching television. Just simply sitting and watching TV with him was satisfying. He knew how to make everyone feel comfortable and welcomed at all times.

More Family Thanksgiving  Game Fun at Pop and Gram's dinning table. Someone made Gram laugh. My bets on Uncle Larry.  He had a gift for not taking life too seriously and had a light-hearted sense of humor. But admirably he was so humble about it. He was a humble person in general. 

Thanksgiving 1995 at our Grandparents house. Thanksgiving Game Night was always the funniest.

My Uncle Larry was a very adventurous person and loved the water.  This was in 1994 when he was teaching my cousin Jakey how to swim. Sorry Jake, it's not the best copy but worth sharing.  He has taught us all something fun to do on the water.  If you have even been for a boat ride on one of his boats you know exactly what I mean.

My Uncle Larry was very silly and fun.  As seen in the photo. The picture does his sense of humor no justice!  This is one of my favorite Pics of my Uncle and Aunt outside my grandparents house in NM. 1994 

This picture was taken at my Uncle Larry and Aunt Lorry's first house in Texas. He is on the far right. Thanksgiving 1993. This was the year the whole Paduano family drove down to Texas to have our first Family Thanksgiving in Texas all together. As a family tradition after dinner we  always joined in on some Holiday Game Night Competition. Trivial Pursuit  was a family favorite.  Uncle Larry always participated with us. He never sat out on the sideline like other adults would.  He made sure we were always entertained that's for sure. He was the fun Uncle for sure!

This was Thanksgiving 1992. My Uncle Larry and Schuckman Family had been living in Texas and they made every effort to visit New Mexico and be in and enrich our lives to the fullest . A holiday without Uncle Larry was hard when he was too busy with work to get away. xo He always put family first otherwise. There were times we got to down to Texas for Holidays and Summers  that was very memorable and special to me. Those were some of the greatest memories and stories I have about him and the family.

In some way my Aunt Lorry and Uncle Larry were opposites attract. I mean that as a complement and in a good way. This picture made me laugh even though my Uncle Larry's eyes are closed.  I had to share. My Uncle and Aunt made our family events so entertaining and unforgettable.  

Christmas Family Dinner at Grammy and Pop's 1989

Christmas 1989. Uncle Larry and Aunt lorry moved to Texas around this time. I don't remember the exact time frame. So this was a special Christmas and probably the last Christmas we spent  together as a family when they were still living in New Mexico. Lucky for me they were only a state away so we could still spend quality family time together. 

This picture was taken at Gram and Pop's house Christmas 1985. Uncle Larry is on the right . I was obviously too young to know what's going one here but it looks like he was being his silly funny self trying to make my Uncle Johnny laugh. He knew how to make people laugh. All the time. He only uplifted the people he was around. I am probably tearing into a present he gave me because he was a very generous and giving Uncle. He considered other people before himself.

This picture was taken in October 1984. The year my Uncle Larry gave me an awesome cousin Mandy! If it wasn't for him I would not have so many fun childhood memories of us at Gram and Pop's house. Look how happy Uncle Larry looks. He was one of the most positive people I ever met. Hands down!

In 1982 my parents got married . Uncle Larry is on the right looking handsome with all that hair !

My Uncle Larry and My Aunt Lorry were made for each other. She was so lucky and blessed to found her soulmate at young age. This day September 6, 1980 was an event that changed our family forever. I thank god for it even though I wasn't born yet. Their companionship and love was a beautiful example for our family and if I ever find a husband as half as good as he was to my Aunt Lorry I would be beyond grateful.  I could not have asked for a better Uncle.  He blessed me with two amazing cousins that added more joy to my life than I could express. Three years later my parents chose him as my Godfather.  That alone says it all.

In addition to his wife of 38 years, he is survived by two children: Amanda Eileen Schuckman of Fair Oaks, CA, Jake Lawrence Schuckman and his wife Emily Schuckman of Leander, Texas. He has two grandchildren, Zavrina Rose and Kylie Sue Schuckman. He will be remembered by many extended family members and close friends.

Larry was preceded in death by Dan and Rose Schuckman, paternal grandparents and Fred and Wilma Albright, maternal grandparents.
