Larry was born on April 10, 1958 in Logan, Kansas to Lawrence James Schuckman, Sr. and Margaret (Albright) Hembree. Larry was self-employed for over 19 years as a distributor for Pepperidge Farms. He was a caring, loving and truly devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be forever remembered for his true one of a kind personality that was filled with laughter, generosity, and patience. Larry was passionate about his family, friends, and faith. He was a lifelong car enthusiast including restoring and racing cars. His most recent and last purchase was his 2009 Orange Dodge Challenger. He loved his sweets especially chocolate chip cookies. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Larry married Lorraine Paduano on September 6, 1980 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
In addition to his wife of 38 years, he is survived by two children: Amanda Eileen Schuckman of Fair Oaks, CA, Jake Lawrence Schuckman and his wife Emily Schuckman of Leander, Texas. He has two grandchildren, Zavrina Rose and Kylie Sue Schuckman. He will be remembered by many extended family members and close friends.
Larry was preceded in death by Dan and Rose Schuckman, paternal grandparents and Fred and Wilma Albright, maternal grandparents.
A Mass will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Saint William Catholic Church, 620 Round Rock West Drive, Round Rock, Texas 78681 officiated by Father Louis Pavlicek.
The family will receive friends and family from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, Texas, 78660.
Larry’s family is forever grateful for the outpouring of love and support though out this difficult time. In keeping with the true spirit of Larry, when planning a special event he was notorious for picking a clothing theme for special events. Please dress casual and wear a colorful casual shirt or Hawaiian themed shirt to both the visitation and mass.
