L.C Bradley was born on January 10th, 1947, in Milam County. He is the last of 7 children to late Sam Bradley and Ethel Bradley (Dawson) of Dimebox, Texas. During his teenage years, he moved to Lubbock where he would attend Dunbar High School, then returned to Dimebox to support his mother. Once he was of age, he then followed his brother, Curtis Bradley, to Austin, Texas.
Once he arrived in Austin his brother Curtis had a position opened for him at the Dristro Hotel Downtown. After gaining experience working, he then moved on to work for Leif Johnson Ford and many other places such as Texpack and Frost Tech (formally known as Kraft and U.S Foodservice). Mr. LC would then retire from the school district working at Reagan High School.
During his stay in Austin, his brother Curtis and him would always go to Huston Tillotson College for meet and greets. There he would meet his soon-to-be wife Jewel Bradley (Steamer) as she attended school. They became inseparable and would have their first child in 1968, Tammie Davis-Bradley.
Mr. Bradley enjoyed traveling, listening to music, going to gatherings, and playing solitaire on his laptop. He also took pride in helping others who needed it the most. He was a very kind man who did not take the simple things for granted. Mr. Bradley was a noble being who believed in treating others as you would want to be treated. He lived for making others comfortable and happy with his jokes, laughs and smiles. Mr. Bradley was a realist. He enjoyed dressing up but did not look to stand out. He was a loving and supportive husband and most importantly an empathetic and heroic father.
On Monday August 30th, 2021, at 7:11, Mr. LC Bradley transitioned to meet the Holy Spirit. Those that preceded him in death include: his daughter (Tammie Davis-Bradley), his parents Sam and Ethel Bradley, his brother Befold Bradley, his brother L.J Bradley, his sister Agnes Bradley (Smith/Hart) and his sister Truest Bradley.
Mr. LC Bradley leaves an incredible touch and everlasting memories with: his wife, Jewel Bradley of Austin Texas, four daughters, Tiffany Alston (Rayshod) of Austin Texas, Emerald Warmate (Benjamin) of Austin Texas, Jade Bradley-Pendgraft (Jamen) of Austin Texas, Felicia Washington of Austin Texas and his son Lance Bradley Sr, of Austin Texas, his brother Curtis Bradley (Grace) of Austin Texas, his sister Mercy Lewis (William) of Dimebox, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
