Since the beginning, Lee had a passion for food and cooking. He enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. A lover of live music, he attended hundreds of live shows and music festivals all around the world. His favorite way of spending time was lying out on a beach or watching the Texas Longhorns. At home, he was always accompanied by his precious pugs and cat, Lucy, Midge, and Decker.
Having worked in produce for over 30 years, Lee shared his passion for good food to the world with his boundless knowledge of fruits and vegetables. There was nothing he loved more than getting together with family and friends to enjoy a good meal.
He is survived by the love of his life, Patrice Crenshaw, whom he was married to for 32 years. His daughters, Irie and Edie Crenshaw, who he cherished more than anything. His parents, Larry and Janice Crenshaw, his sister Lori Crenshaw and brother Chris Crenshaw and his wife Sarah Crenshaw. His father-in-law Chris Pierson and brother-in-law Richard Pierson. His nephews Bud and Jackson Pierson, Eli Crenshaw and niece Lexa Crenshaw.
He is preceded by his wonderful mother-in-law Nancy Pierson, his grandparents Myrtle and Melvin Beckham and Anna and Robert Crenshaw.
Anyone who knew Lee knew how hard he worked. He achieved anything he put his mind to. His selflessness and sacrifice was worth it to him when he saw how happy his family was. He will be remembered for how much joy he brought to everyone around him with his humor, laughter, kindness, and generosity.
