Letitia Witt

Letitia Ann Gilleland Witt was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world suddenly on January 25, 2025, at age 55 years old. She was born to the late Doris and Carl Gilleland on March 04, 1969.

Tisha, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love and compassion and she was very family oriented. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Although Tisha is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.

Tisha is survived by her two sons James Kurt Witt and Dustin Stanley Witt; grandson James Phillip Witt; brother Carl James Gilleland, Jr.; Nephew Carl James Gilleland, III; Family members Laurissa, Lauren, Myndi and Sam. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Tisha worked as an office manager for a major furniture retailer and later as a telemarketer. In her last years she worked in the healthcare industry as a caregiver for elderly and disabled individuals which shows her compassionate spirit.

Tisha was a huge Texas Longhorns fan, and one could say she bled orange! She would tell stories of how her mom would take her to Longhorn football games when she was younger. She was also an avid poker player, and she enjoyed playing cards and board games.

A visitation for Letitia will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. A committal service will occur Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
