Linda Lou Keating

Linda was born on December 21, 1948 in Austin, Texas to the late Hugo Buerger and Nora (Lienemann) Buerger. Early on in life she lost her mother, then was raised by the late Elmer Ross and Alma Ross. She was a graduate of Austin High School in Austin, Texas, Class of 1967. Linda was employed in various positions as a hardworking and dedicated caregiver in the medical field. She was a caring, loving and truly devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to so many. She will be forever remembered for her nurturing nature and generosity. She was passionate about her family, cooking and traveling. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Billy Van Keating; two sons, Billy Keating, Michael Keating and his wife, Veronica; grandchildren, Bryana, Jonathan, Michael Jr. and Myles; brother, Richard Buerger and his wife, Jo Ann, as well as many extended family members and close friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her brothers, Harry Buerger, Stanley Buerger and her sister, Sandra Helcl.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. Pastor John Van Haneghan will be officiating with burial to follow at Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home.
