Linda attended Blackshear High School in Odessa, Texas. Linda went on to work in the school district and later started her career in dietary, where she worked for 20 plus years until her retirement.
Linda accepted Christ into her life at early age and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Odessa, Texas, where she was a devoted member who was known for outstanding dresses and hats.
Linda is preceded in death by both parents; sisters Alice L. Lynch, Annie L. Lynch and Willie Anderson; her son Yul Anthony Lynch; and her granddaughter Jovaughn (JoJo) Lynch.
Left to cherish her beautiful memory are her children Rondon T. Lynch, Todd D Swoopes (Yolanda), Zetta Bowser, Tracie Bowser, and Shawn D. Swoopes; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.

Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Linda came to terms with her death, and she knew she was going home to be with her Father. She was ready for this next adventure. She knew death doesn’t have a “sting” because it means we will be reunited with her in heaven. Christ’s victory over death is something we should all celebrate.
