

She was active in church and ready to help anyone who called upon her. She loved flowers, always had flower beds, potted plants and a vegetable garden, sharing her bounty with others. She was a wonderful cook, loved to crochet, knit and sew.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy H. Sessler, mother and father, Ida Mae and James Benjamin Whisenant, brothers and sisters, James B., Jr., Robert, Nolan, Virginia, Lilly, Mildred and Marilyn.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Beverly and James "Jimbo" Miller, daughter Barbara Turner, grand children Jimmy Miller, Kelly Chavis and Deborah Maynard, eight great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, sisters Mary Reaves, Janice Bennett and Geraldine Salter, sister-in-law Laverne Whisenant, widow of Nolan, and brother-in-law Richard Tullock, widower of Marilyn, nephews and nieces.
Special thanks to those who cared for and loved her and took care of her medical needs at Baylor Scott and White Hospital, Encompass Home Health, University Village Memory Care and the Cottages at Chandler Creek.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate to the Diabetes Association in her name.
