Lucille Bowman

Born October 19, 1930 to Lena Lofaso and Orlando Battistoni in Galveston, Texas, Lucille was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. She attended Ball High School where she met her husband of 62 years William Edgar Bowman Jr. They eventually settled in Austin Texas where Lucille worked in the state comptroller's office as a supervisor.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband; her beloved son William Edgar Bowman III; and her sisters, Anna Mae Fowles and Mary Katherine Young. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Bowman; as well as many extended family members.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, with graveside services following at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
