Manuel D Mendoza Sr.

Manny was a hardworking man who believed in providing for those he loved. His strong work ethic and dedication were evident throughout his life, and he took great pride in every job he undertook. Beyond his work, he found joy in sharing his gifts through music. He loved singing, playing the piano and guitar, and lifting others' spirits with the songs he cherished.

A man of deep faith, Manny was an active member of his church community. He faithfully participated in the church choir and prayer groups, where he formed lasting friendships and encouraged others through worship, fellowship, and prayer. His faith was a guiding force throughout his life.

One of his favorite pastimes was exploring new restaurants and enjoying good meals with family and friends. Whether trying a new place or returning to a favorite, he appreciated the simple pleasure of sharing food and conversation with those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Mamerta Mendoza.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Edna Rasul; his two children from his first marriage, Manuel Mendoza Jr. and Richie Rowley; his daughter-in-law, Regine Mendoza and his son-in-law, Zach Rowley; and his three beloved grandchildren, Taylor Rowley, Bethany Mendoza, and Samantha Mendoza, who brought him great joy and pride. He also leaves behind many family members, friends, fellow choir members, and members of his church community who will miss his kindness, music, and faithful spirit.

Though his presence will be deeply missed, his legacy of hard work, unwavering faith, love of music, and devotion to family will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, on July 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by a Prayer Service at the same location on July 9, 2026, at 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, on July 10, 2026, at 9:00 am, with a Committal Service to follow at Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, on July 10, 2026, at 10:00 am.
