She was born on May 7, 1942 in Cameron, Texas where they grew up before moving to Bryan, Texas.
She worked for Twin City Drapery for many years in Bryan before moving to Austin in 1976 where she work for Texas Instruments and then IBM. Then she finally retired in 2000.
Margaret loved working in her yard and gardening, she also loved to dance to Tejano music. Her all time joy was spending time with her family, grandkids and great-grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her late husband Jacinto Mayorga Jr.; parents Eleno Ramirez Sr., Bartola Montalvo Ramirez; her sister Lupe Macias; brothers Leonardo, Jesse, Margarito, Julian and Joe Ramirez.
Margaret is survived by her brothers Pete and wife Mary, Ysidoro and wife Mary Rose, Eleno Jr. and wife Hope; sisters Elena Cornejo and Ruth Morales; children Irma Canney (Greg), Ronald Lopez (Linda), Veronica Lopez and little Rosie; sister in law Vera Ramirez and Kenny Ramirez; 6 grandkids and 9 great-grandkids.
The family would like to thank Lorinda Circe for the care and compassion they showed Margaret in her final days.
A visitation for Margarita will be held Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. A prayer service will occur Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. A funeral service will occur Monday, May 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., at 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. A committal service will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, TX.
