Maria was born to Raymon Elmer Utegg and Josephine Maria (Van De Velde) Utegg on February 13, 1947 in Warren Pennsylvania. The family later moved to Jamestown, New York where Maria grew up. she graduated from Jamestown High School in 1965.During her life she worked at a variety of different jobs until she retired from Texas Medical Liability Trust in 2005 where she worked as a claims technician.
Maria had several hobbies that she enjoyed. She liked to needle point pictures until her hands would no longer allow her to do so. She loved collecting stamps, and dolls of the Royal Family. One of her passions was photography, especially of flowers, birds and wildlife. Our house was decorated with many of her photographs.
She is survived by her husband Mark, daughter Lisa Rhoades and her husband Jeremy, son Sean Lessenger and wife Melissa, sister Sam Creamer and husband Butch. As well as her four loving cats.
