Marilyn was born in Taylor, Texas on May 9, 1942. She graduated from William B. Travis High School and received her BA, MA, and PhD from the University of Texas at Austin.
Marilyn had a career with the State of Texas as an Environmental Quality Specialist. She served over 22 years in Nuclear Regulation, Environmental Health, Licensing and Management. Her certifications and achievements include Registered Professional Sanitarian and Phi Beta Kappa.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Robert H. Preusse, and her mother, Annette Preusse. She leaves behind her brother, Curtis L. Preusse and Sister-In Law, Janette Preusse of Austin, Texas.
Marilyn’s lifelong passion was the support of Animal Activist groups and African Animal Welfare.
