Marita T. LaRochelle

Marita passed away on March 2, 2014 after a long battle with Wegener's, a rare immune disease. Born in Chicago on May 20, 1948, she was a retired loan officer for Wells Fargo and enjoyed painting, reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Marita was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Julia Rood and nephew Timothy Hall. She is survived by her beloved husband John, her children and their spouses, Tiffany and Chris Fincher, April and Kurt Hundl, Andrew and Caitlin LaRochelle, her granddaughter Julia Fincher and her sister Patricia and Patricia's husband Rich Tyson.

Marita will be missed by many friends and extended family. She taught us how important it is to laugh, smile, love and enjoy every moment of everyday.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Hospice Austin or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 11:00 until 1:00 pm, at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm following the visitation. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
