He was born in Austin on March 21, 1967, to Charles and Patricia Jackson. Mark attended school in Austin and graduated from Reagan High School.
He loved bike riding and he, his brother and a friend would ride the trails outside of Austin. There were many times that he would take off across town riding his bike. Archery and playing the guitar were two of his favorite hobbies. He enjoyed his job working in the deli department of Albertsons and Randalls grocery stores. Mark had the gift of being able to talk to anyone and have a conversation. He was also very strong in his faith and was a member of Central Christian Church.
Mark’s health issues kept him from doing many of the things that he enjoyed. They also hindered him from accomplishing many of his goals.
Those left behind to cherish Mark’s memory are his mother, Patricia Jackson; brothers, Mike Jackson and Patrick Fallwell (Terri); and his niece, Christie Adams.
Mark will be laid to rest at a graveside service at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026. Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to a reception in the Capitol Room of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home.
