It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss of Mark Richard Pocoroba, who passed away on November 6, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 25, 1955, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mark was the cherished son of Marion Regina Pocoroba and Edward Mario Pocoroba. He was the eldest of three sons and leaves behind a legacy of determination, dedication, and success.
Since he was young, Mark possessed a clear aspiration to achieve success on his own terms. His journey as an entrepreneur began in his early adulthood with the establishment of a T-shirt printing company. Mark's drive led him to obtain an Associates Degree and kickstart a career as an Electrical Engineering Technician. While working at TI, he acquired the skill of designing PCBs by observing a colleague's work, which eventually led him to launch his own printed circuit board company called Bin1. Mark achieved a successful exit from Bin1 and later discovered his passion for designing highly intricate test boards, leading him to establish yet another prosperous company named APX Test. Through sheer dedication and perseverance, Mark built his empire, transforming himself into a self-made and accomplished entrepreneur and businessman.
Aside from his professional pursuits, Mark had a zest for life that was infectious. He was a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan and took great pleasure in cheering on his favorite team. Fishing, martial arts, classic rock, and savoring delicious Italian cuisine were among the many things that brought him joy. Mark cherished his family dearly and created countless treasured memories with them. His life was filled with exciting adventures and unforgettable moments shared with friends and loved ones. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Edward, his sister Sharon Pocoroba, and his niece Sarah Pocoroba. He is survived by his children, Anthony Pocoroba, Alysha Hughes, and Marco Pocoroba (Whitney). Mark also leaves behind his brothers, Mario Pocoroba, Brian Pocoroba (Jenny Joann) and Michael “Sparky” Roberts, his nephew Samuel Pocoroba, nieces Regina Pocoroba, Andrea Pocoroba, Natalia Pocoroba, and Michelle Hale.
In our hearts, Mark Richard Pocoroba will forever be remembered for his unwavering principles, his dedication to his craft, and his immense love for his family and friends. May his soul find eternal peace, knowing that his legacy will continue to inspire and guide those he leaves behind.
