

Susie, as she was known, was a devoted daughter, beloved sister, aunt, and friend was gently called to our Heavenly Father after two years declining health and fleeting memories of a life lived kindly. She cared for many nieces and nephews, as well as her mother, Bacilia Lopez, who has preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by three sisters: Elaria Melendez, Maria de la Luz Castillo, and Pauline Castillo, and three brothers: Jesus Natividad Castillo and Jose Montoya. She is survived by her brother Antonio Lopez, the last of seven siblings, a few first cousins, and numerous nieces, nephews. Aunt Susie loved Jesus, her mother, her Chihuahuas, and living independently. She was dearly loved and will be missed.
A visitation for Mary will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. The funeral service will occur 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 23, 2025 in the Walden Room of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, with the interment to immediately follow in the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
