Jane was born in Canton, Ohio in 1938. She and her family relocated to Austin, Texas in 1973. She was a member at Bethel Assembly of God for many years where she was a part of the choir, a member and later serving as President of Women’s Ministries. She loved and took great pride in serving the Lord. Jane’s main career was waitressing where she worked hard her whole life to support her family. After retiring from waitressing, she experienced great joy and much success as an Avon representative which allowed her to meet new people and make lifelong friends with her infectious smile and loving personality. Even though she didn't’t have parents to raise her and was in the foster system most of her life, she dedicated herself to her family always sacrificing to ensure they never went without. Jane’s greatest accomplishment in life, according to her, was her family. She devoted herself to ensuring her family knew they were loved and would always be there for each other.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and sharing her love for cooking. She was bold and always spoke her mind. She was never afraid to be herself which is a quality that has been passed to her children and many grandchildren. She loved the Lord and had a very strong relationship with Jesus Christ. Her heart's desire was for everyone to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and friend. She was brave, selfless, beautiful, and hilarious, and will be remembered by so many for her loving and giving heart.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Dolan with whom she was married for 46 years, and her oldest daughter, Jane Ann Dolan.
She is survived by her five children: Ivy (Darrell) Carroll, Keith (Van) Shotwell, Kathy Chadwick, Michael (Lori) Dolan, and Jami (Keith) Williams; fifteen grandchildren: Rachel, Jeremy, Pat, Jennifer, Patricia, Michael, Paul, Warren, William, Breigh, Drew, Brooke, Reese, Sydney, Mike, Jennifer, Jessica, Logan, and Casey; great grandchildren: Kyle, Olivia, Katie, Layla, Mustafa, Taya, Caleb, Breanna, Adrian, Shelby, Cody, Kenneth, Adilyn, Weston, Everly, and Gracelyn.

2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course,
I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness,
which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day:
and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Today we lost so much more than just a woman
We lost our rock, our matriarch, our strongest pillar
An angelic soul with such amazing faith, strength, and grace
We will miss you so much, your comforting voice and beautiful face
So many loving memories completely flood and overcome us all
But because of you, we know we are all too strong to fall
You gave us all wonderful infinite unconditional love
We love you, we miss you, we will meet you in heaven above.
