Mary Lucille Reese

Born on December 13, 1919 in Gonzales, Texas, Mary was the daughter of Earl William Barron and Artie (White) Barron. She graduated from Bastrop High School. Mary Lucille united in marriage with Edward Tomas Reese on August 23, 1941. Edward preceded her in death.

As a homemaker, Mary had a passion for gardening, crossword puzzles, and her grandchildren and she was a member of the Baptist Church.

Mary is survived by two children, Thomas Reese and Diane Escobar; her beloved grandchildren, Rodney Reese, Gary Reese, Danny Reese, John E. Carter, Michael Carter, Sr. and Cindy Riggins. She also leaves nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services celebrating Mary’s life will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 26, 2018 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. There will be a time of visitation prior to the celebration. Committal services will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.

Pallbearers honoring Mary will be Michael Carter, Sr., Michael Carter, Jr., Nichlas Carter, Jacob Carter, Mathew Carter, Danny Reese, Nat Govea, Eric Carter, and Mark Carter.
