Mary Lou Sander

Mary Lou (Jones) Sander, 77, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 in Austin, Texas. She was born December 8, 1938 in Lufkin, Texas to Bernice (Parker) Jones and James M. Jones. She married Eugene C. Sander on September 8, 1956.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bobby Earl Jones, Billy Frank Jones and James Parker Jones; sister, Virginia Sue (Jones) McClelland and half-sister, Winnie Lee Jones.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Eugene Sander; son, Don Sander; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Steve Ellis; granddaughter, Skylar Ellis and grandson, Trace Ellis; sister, Shirley (Jones) Glaze and husband, Lenard Glaze of Lufkin, Texas; brother, Eddie Jones of Nacogdoches, Texas; sister-in-law, Doris (Sander) Randig of Taylor, Texas; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Jerlene Sander of Round Rock, Texas; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kay (Sander) and Steve Hardcastle of Godley, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016, at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 31, 2016, at the funeral home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
