

Max Waldo Stone, Jr, 63 of Georgetown, Texas joined our Father in Heaven on May 8, 2015. He was welcomed to the world on November 21, 1951 in Austin, Texas to his loving parents Max and Dora Mae Stone.
Max was a hardworking man, who loved to fish, ride his motorcycle and be with his family and friends. Max was well known in the community for his dedication and passion for his volunteer work. He devoted his time to be a member of Hill City Lodge #456, Colorado Commandery #4, Ben Hur Shrine, and Red Cross of Constantine. His achievements are too long to list, but his most proud achievements include Past Commander of Colorado Commandery, High Priest and Profet of Ben Hur Shrine, Past Sovereign for Red Cross of Constantine, Past Govenor York Rite College, raising three daughters and being a grandfather. Max loved to build and fix everything and was able to beautify houses across the area by his work at the family business, Austin Marble Company, Inc. Later in life Max came to know the Lord and built a strong relationship allowing him peace in passing.
Max will be greeted in Heaven by his father, Max Waldo Stone, Sr. and his sister Georgia Mae Stone.
His family celebrating his life include his wife Lana Stone, mother Dora Mae Stone; daughters Donna Stone, Rena Everett and husband Shawn Everett, Tanya VanPelt and husband Michael VanPelt, six grandchildren, brother Michael Stone and wife Virginia Stone.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown, Texas. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
In honor of Max's dedication to multiple organizations the family requests to make memorial contributions to The Knights Templar Eye Foundation or the Shriners Hospital for Children in Houston or Galveston.
