May Belle Skinner Perry of Round Rock, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 26,2026 at the age of 94 years. She was born on May 4, 1931, in Ore City, Texas where she grew up.
She graduated from New Mountain High School and was soon married to Othelia Freeman. Of this marriage, one child was born - Robert Freeman, a West Point Graduate. Early in her adult life, she moved to Houston, Texas and worked as a nurse’s assistant until she married Frank Perry and moved to Oakland, California. She then became a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) and worked for the Veterans Administration. After retiring as a nurse, she moved back to Texas and lived in Round Rock where she was a faithful and active member of Sweet Home Pinnacle of Praise Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Othelia Freeman and Frank Perry, parents, Hugh and Lela Skinner, siblings Dan Skinner, Esther Denman, Fonzell Skinner, Rexie Skinner, K. C. Skinner and her son, Robert Freeman.
She is survived by her siblings Adell Skinner (Evelyn), Theodist Skinner, sister-in-law Pauline Skinner, Maggie Amos (Oscar), and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 11:00 am. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 am at Sweet Home Pinnacle of Praise Baptist Church, 3200 Sunrise Rd. Round Rock, TX 78665
Interment on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Paradise North Cemetery, 10401 West Montgomery Rd. Houston, TX 77088.
