Melissa Lynn Mance-Adams

Born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania on October 3, 1975, Melissa made it her life mission to take care of her family and friends to the best of her ability. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and forever friend to a lot of people. Melissa loved spending time with her family as often as possible. She loved her family and friends, first and foremost, but also loved playing puzzle games on her computer and having an occasional bingo night out with friends. She was a loving woman who knew no boundaries when it came to the happiness of others before herself. Melissa was a talented and respected Insurance Underwriter for Texas State Low Cost Insurance in Austin for 15 years. Melissa’s time spent on earth with us was nothing more than miraculous and not a day will go by that one of us will not think of her and smile knowing that she is now celebrating in Heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Gary Adams; son, Phillip Adams; Parents, William and Juanita Mance, Judy Marie Glass, Lee Arthur Adams; Grandparents William and Eleanor Schrock, Mildred Mance, Margaret Washington; Sister, Melanie Mance-Brenk and husband James Brenk; Brother, Charles Mance and wife Danielle Mance; nephews, Brandon Keith Zachary, Ciji Washington; Nieces, Amber Zachary, Ashley Zachary, Lilian Mance, Jazmine Mance and Marleigh Mance, Marquet Washington; Many Aunts and Uncles, cousins and a host of other family and friends that will miss her greatly.

Melissa was preceded in death by her Grandfather, George William Mance, Great Grandmother, Esther Glass, and Grandfather, Lee Vernon Glass.

The Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 pm, Saturday, January 18, 2014 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas.
