

Mike was born in Corpus Christi, TX on June 2nd, 1961. He lived in Houston for many years and attended Alief High School where participated in bull riding events at local rodeos. Mike then moved to Austin where he crafted custom rugs for many restaurants, businesses, and Austin residents. His career was in the telephone/cable/long distance sales and installation field, but his passion was the martial arts. He practiced various forms of martial arts throughout his life. He held one of the highest degrees bestowed upon those who participated in the art of Ninjutsu. The day he received his 5th degree black belt and completed the Godan test ranked among his proudest accomplishments. Because of his training, he, along with his mentor were able to work with the U.S. Navy SEAL Team 6, this was another of his greatest achievements. Mike was an outdoorsman, craftsman, designer, teacher, mentor, father, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father William Edward Fizeseri, his mother Melva Dean Fizeseri, a very special aunt Doris Jean Petery, and brother-in-law Richard Powell. He is survived by his two children that he loved with all of his heart, Rachel Michelle Fizeseri and Michael Lee Fizeseri of Austin, Texas and his sisters Gail Powell of Austin, Texas and Sandy Fizeseri of Lockhart, Texas.
Graveside services will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home on Friday November 30th, at 1:00pm. A visitation will be held from 11:30 to 12:30 prior to the service.
