Mike Alvarez, the loving patriarch of his family, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025. Born on April 19, 1936 in Austin, Texas to Baudelio Alvarez and Carmen Vargas Alvarez, Mike was 88 years old when he passed.
Mike was a disciple of God and a family man above all else. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. As a member of the St. Albert the Great Catholic Church community, he did his best to live by the Word of God and was a blessing to everyone he interacted with.
Mike served his country in the United States Army for over 26 years before retiring as an E7 Sergeant First Class; then, he went on to work at Seton Hospital as a security guard for the next 25 years before retiring.
