Mike Barnard

Mike was born 1955 and passed in 2024.

Mike was the love of Kathy's life until his passing. They actually lived down the street from one another growing up.

He loved sports of any kind and could tell you when and where anything happened. Especially anything Longhorns, it didn't matter what it was.

His family meant everything to him.

He worked for the highway department (aka TxDot) until his retirement.

His work friends are forever friends and especially the one he nicknamed (b.f.) and he knows who he is :)

Mike is preceded in death by his mom and dad plus numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy and his kids: Debra (David), William (Michelle) and Kristy. He is also survived by his grandkids Dakota, Katelynn, Dylan Ethan and Logan, plus his grand dog Benji who was his pal. As well as his numerous nieces and nephews.

Special recognition to his brother in law Sam and Sister in law Debi. And also sister in law Lou (louise). They have been our rocks forever.

There will be a visitation for Mike on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. The graveside service will occur Saturday, May 25, 2024, 10:00 a.m., in the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
