Mildred was born January 15, 1915 in Orange, Texas. Her family moved to Lubbock, Texas when she was a small child. Mildred graduated from Lubbock High and continued her business education there.
She married Floyd Raymond in 1936. They were married for 62 years at the time of his death.
Mildred is also predeceased by her sister Audrey Thurman and brother, Lynn Peveto.
Mildred is survived by her two daughters and their spouses, Linda and Bill Kimball, Janis and Peter Gabele; four grandsons, Raymond Kimball, Paul and wife, Liz Kimball, Jeffrey Gabele, Eric Gabele and Angela Glasgow; and great-grandchildren Catherine and Will Kimball.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
