Nadja was born on June 18, 1987 in Biloxi, Mississippi, the daughter of Daryl and Paula Hockaday. Being in a military family, her father was in the U. S. Air Force, she started her travel in Mississippi to Texas, Ohio, Virginia, Washington, D.C., then back to Texas.
She graduated from Connally High School in Austin, Texas and attended "business program" studies in Human Resource Management on the campus of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. From this experience, she worked in various call centers in the state of Texas. Embarking on a new career, she moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Nadja was a loving and compassionate person who loved to have fun. She had the most beautiful personality that could light up your soul. She loved family game nights. She also enjoyed hiking, camping and exploring new things nature had to offer. Most of all, she enjoyed family time, laughing and telling stories.
Nadja was a lover of the arts of fashion and enjoyed dancing and listening to music. She was funny, silly, outgoing and spirited, but she was also shy natured and thoughtfully reflected for herself.
Nadja is survived by her parents, Daryl and Paula Hockaday; brother, Daryl A. Hockaday; her sons, De'Oveon, Brock and Blake (Gabriel).
Nadja's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the QUALITY of existence far exceeds the QUANTITY of time in which one lives. We will always remember her infectious smile, beautiful eyes and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed!
