Nathan Scott Crow was born August 15, 1969, in Austin, Texas. He grew up in Creedmoor and attended Onion Creek Baptist Church. He had a strong belief in his Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized at the age of six, fully understanding what he believed.
He graduated Salutatorian of his 1987 Del Valle High School graduating class. He graduated from UT Austin in 1992 with a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and later received his masters in Electrical Engineering in December of 2005. He spent his entire career working for Applied Research Laboratories and enjoyed the many projects he worked on while there, his absolute favorite being his trip to the North Pole in 1993.
He met Denise in high school band when she was a freshman and he was a junior. They dated all through high school (attending 4 proms) and all through college at UT, both being proud members of the University of Texas Longhorn Band.
They married July 17, 1993, and had 4 wonderful children - Allison, Duncan, Carolyn, and Vivian. Nathan loved opportunities to do activities with his kids- leading a Boy Scout troop, creating science fair projects and art projects, helping with math homework, playing Dungeons and Dragons and Chess, playing music together, reading together in book clubs, and building Legos. He wanted to be a part of their world.
Nathan also enjoyed woodworking and created some beautiful furniture and Knick knacks. His dream woodworking project was to someday create his own chess board and chess pieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary, his mother, Margaret, his brother, Ethan, and his grandparents on both sides.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Denise, his 4 children-Allison, Duncan, Carolyn, and Vivian, his sister, Shannon, and her husband, Mike, nieces and nephews, and many other extended family and friends.
Heaven is rejoicing although we will miss him terribly.
