Norma Maria Macias

Norma shined brighter than a diamond and had a beautiful smile and laugh that would brighten any space instantly. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Norma would say that she was a family woman to not only her children but to all that were blessed to have crossed paths with her. Her passions were her grandchildren and her career, she was especially proud of becoming the Material Night Manager at Paradigm Metals and would even keep her nameplate with her in her purse at all times to show off. Norma loved home DIY and spending time with her grandchildren as much as possible. She loved hosting and enjoying her young life at any moment with her friends and family.

Norma is survived by her mother Concepcion Maldonado, her siblings Arturo Maldonado, Maribel Maldonado, Alejandro Maldonado, Sonia Hoofnagle, her children Fernando Macias, Leslie Macias, Veronica Macias, and her grandchildren Christian Macias, Matthew Macias, Lylah Luna. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins, and nephews. She leaves behind not only her family and beloved friends but also her work family.

A visitation for Norma will be held Sunday, for all those who wish to attend and say their final goodbyes. Her service will be on November 6, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, Tx 78660. Her final resting place will be in Montemorelos, Nuevo León, México alongside her father, Arturo Maldonado.

Norma María Maldonado Macías nació el 27 de febrero de 1969 en Montemorelos, Nuevo León, México, falleció a la edad de 53 años, el 26 de octubre de 2022, en Pflugerville, Texas.

Norma brillaba más que un diamante y tenía una hermosa sonrisa y risa que iluminaría cualquier espacio al instante. Todos los que tenían el placer de conocer a Norma dirían que era una mujer de familia no solo para sus hijos, sino para todos los que tuvieron la bendición de haberse cruzado con ella. Sus pasiones eran sus nietos y su carrera, estaba especialmente orgullosa de convertirse en la Gerente de Noche de Material en Paradigm Metals e incluso mantenía su placa de identificación con ella en su bolso en todo momento para presumir. A Norma le encantaba el bricolaje casero y pasar tiempo con sus nietos tanto como fuera posible. Le encantaba hospedar y disfrutar de su joven vida en cualquier momento con sus amigos y familiares.

A Norma le sobreviven su madre Concepción Maldonado, sus hermanos Arturo Maldonado, Maribel Maldonado, Alejandro Maldonado, Sonia Hoofnagle, y sus hijos Fernando Macías, Leslie Macías, Verónica Macías, sus nietos Christian Macías, Matthew Macías, Lylah Luna. También le sobreviven tíos, primos, y sobrinos. Ella deja atrás no solo a su familia y amigos queridos, sino también a su familia laboral.

El domingo se llevará a cabo una visita para Norma, para todos aquellos que deseen asistir y despedirse definitivamente. Su servicio será el 6 de noviembre de 2022, de 3:00 pm a 6:00 pm en Cook-Walden / Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, Tx 78660. Su lugar de descanso final será en Montemorelos, Nuevo León, México junto a su padre, Arturo Maldonado.
