Odie Bull

Odie Bull, 84 of Kyle joined his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 12, 2012. He was born March 16, 1928 in Spur, Texas to John and Laune Bull. After a short time in Arkansas the family moved in 1941 and settled in Austin.

Odie graduated from Austin High School and attended Abilene Christian College. He worked as a Master Electrician with the city of Austin for 31 years. He participated in several woodworking clubs and enjoyed painting, carving and creating beauty from wood. But his greatest joy in life was serving the Lord. He fought the good fight, he finished the race and he kept the faith.

Odie will be greatly missed by his family which includes his wife of 61 ½ years Mildred Bull, his brother Johnny Bull, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his family in Christ at the Buda Kyle Church of Christ.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services for Odie will be held at 10 AM, Friday, August 17, 2012 at the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home; Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
