Olga Irma Woolf

Our dearly beloved mother, Olga Irma Woolf, sadly passed away at age 86, on Monday, July 4, 2022 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She is formerly from Mexico. In 1972, she brought her family to United States of America. She was a true believer in our Lord that she explored several religions including Catholicism, Baptist, Jehovah Witness and Mormon by studying all their beliefs.

She was a wonderful woman, beloved wife, caring sister, and above all a loving mother. She was a selfless, strong, brave and a genuine real woman. She would talk to us truthfully about many things because she loved us and truly cared for us no matter who we were. She always guided us with her sincere and honest advice.

In her free time, she attended to her flowers. She had a natural green thumb, we were amazed that she could grow anything. She loved her colorful hibiscus and bougainvillea's. She was a wonderful cook and loved to share her culinary secrets with us. She enjoyed when we would gather to make the family’s traditional dishes, especially tamales. She worked for Austin Independence School District for over 20 years. She started at the elementary, moved to the middle school and then to high school as her kids moved up in grades so she could spend as much time with us.

Olga was married to the great love of her life, Carlos, for 62 years and went on to have nine children, Maritza (Pedro) Martinez, Carlos Jr. (Cristina) Woolf, Aracely Woolf, Juanita (Jim) Younce, Victor Hugo Woolf, Julio (Leticia) Woolf, Rodolfo (Melanie) Woolf, Lupita Woolf and Enrique (Claudia) Woolf. She was blessed with 20 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

During her life she mourned the lives of her parents, three sisters and three brothers. She leaves behind a legacy of love and teachings.

A visitation for Olga will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A rosary service will occur Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's of Hungary Catholic Church, 1520 N Rail Road Ave., Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A committal service will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
