

Orbrianiece (McVade) Daniels died of natural causes on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, in Austin, Texas. She was 75 years old, blessed and loved. Neicy, as her friends and family called her, was born in Lockhart, Texas, in 1948 to Helen Louise and Isaac McVade. She was a member of St. John Regular Missionary Baptist Church in Dale, Texas, and went to St. John school, where she was the valedictorian of her class. In 1970, Neicy moved to Austin to work for Judge Bullock as a legal assistant.
In 1974, Neicy married Ernest Marion Daniels. The couple settled in Austin where they raised two daughters. In 1983, she began her work, as a Revenue Audit Specialist at the Internal Revenue Service, where she worked until she retired in 2008. She received recognition for community service, from Donna Dukes of the House of Representatives, on July 1, 2015. Neicy loved 50s fashion, plants, gardening, cooking, ceramics, and journaling. She collected ink pens and journals. In her spare time, she enjoyed seek and find puzzles, QVC, and Lifetime movies.
Neicy is survived by her husband, Ernest, two daughters, LaJuana Paris (Gary) and LaTrice LeJon McVade, one granddaughter, Legacy Garyn Paris, and her two brothers, Alton Owen Carter (Tammy) and Jimmy Dean Carter. She was preceded in death by her father, Isaac McVade, her mother, Helena Louise Carter, her brother, Curtis Melvin McVade (Patricia), and her brother Don Newcome Carter. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, first cousins, second cousins, cherished friends, and her beloved dog “Snowball”.
A visitation for Orbrianeice will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
