Patrica Patterson Kellam

Patrica Patterson Kellam, 89, lovingly known as “Miss Trish” to the thousands of students whose lives she profoundly impacted throughout her remarkable career as a teacher at Shirley McPhail School of Dance, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, in Oklahoma, where she had resided for the past eight years.

Trish was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Beulah Patterson; her husband, John Kellam; twin brother Patric as well as her daughter, Kristi Kellam; and her granddaughter, Holly Lynn Harrison. She is survived by her son, Kirk Kellam, her granddaughter Gemmalyn Grace Harrison-Day along with countless former students, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish the dedication, sparkle, joy, and love she brought each of her students through sharing her love of dance.

Miss Trish leaves behind a lasting legacy of grace, encouragement, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her, inspiring future generations in all aspects of their lives.

Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, on June 15, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

A Funeral Service will take place at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, on June 15, 2026, at 10:00 am.

A Committal Service will follow at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660, on June 15, 2026, at 11:00 am.
