Patricia Novit of Georgetown, Texas passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 84. Gladys Patricia Murrell was born on March 14, 1940, in Burley, Idaho. Pat was the oldest of 5 siblings. Her family also lived in Reno, NV and Oroville, CA before settling in Sacramento, CA. Pat met the love her life in Sacramento and married in 1961. Pat and Bob raised their family in Sacramento and would eventually move to Cedar Park, Texas to enjoy life as grandparents.
Pat was active in sports including swimming, tennis, water skiing and snow skiing. She loved to travel, camp, boat, cook, bake, and play games. Pat will forever be remembered as wonderful and loving daughter, mother, grandmother, wife, big sister, friend, and aunt to so many. She will forever be remembered for her strong determination in life and her warm smile. Her amazing recipes were family favorites. Pat also had a successful career in bookkeeping and mortgage servicing.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband Bob of 63 years, her parents Bennie and Edna, and her siblings Bobby and Mollie.
Pat is survived by her son Gary, grandchildren Kristen and Ashley, and siblings Theresa and Leola.
