

Patsy was raised in Greenville, Texas and graduated from Greenville High School. She united in holy matrimony to the late John W. Hall. To this union one son and four daughters were born. Patsy’s five children remained her priority until her death on December 9, 2025.
Patsy retired on December 15, 1995, from St. David’s Hospital after serving the Health Care Profession for thirty-one years. Throughout her career, Patsy touched the lives of countless patients, starting as early as 1965 at Monte Siesta Nursing Home. Patsy established herself as a caring nurse’s aide while working at many of the best Health Care Institutions in the Austin Community. These included Westminster Manor Hospital, Wilshire Nursing Home, Austin State Hospital, Charter Lane Hospital, and St. David’s Hospital.
During her years on staff at St. David’s, Patsy was recognized and honored by her co-workers as Employee of the Quarter, exemplifying her dedication to the efforts and mission of the hospital. Subsequently, she was awarded St. David’s Super Star Award for outstanding service to the hospital and the community it served.
Patsy was a faithful member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church for over thirty years. She was a dedicated member of the Senior Mission, Elizabeth Circle. Throughout the years, she sang in various choirs, assisted with Vacation Bible School, served on the Benevolent Committee, and worshiped with the Senior Ministry.
Patsy’s faith in the Lord sustained her throughout life. She knew that she was a child of God and relied on that relationship to manage life’s challenges.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lois Lawrence; her daughter, Sultana Al-Mansour; her son, Alan Hall; and her brother, Elton Lawrence.
Patsy is survived by her daughter, Pamela Hall; her daughter, Greta Hays (Barrett); her daughter, Valerie Hall; her grandson, John Williams (Justeen); her grandson, Malik Hall; her granddaughter, India Hays; and her daughter-in-law, Karla Hall.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers (doctors, nurses, CNAs, chaplain, and social worker) at Beacon Hospice and the doctors and nurses at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Pflugerville for the exemplary care and compassion they showed our loved one during her final days.
