

Paul Chinedu Eluemuno was born on July 11, 1951 to the parents of John Ujomu and Janet Eke Eluemuno in Ubulu-Uku, Nigeria of Delta State, and was the fourth child of seven children. Paul attended private school in Delta State School District and worked as a customs officer, until he graduated and moved to the United States of America to continue his education at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. In the summer of 1987, Paul graduated from St. Edward’s University with his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
At an early age, Paul accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in Nigeria. As a passionate member of the catholic church, he attended Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church of Pflugerville, Texas and later united with Saint William Catholic Church of Round Rock, Texas.
Upon completion of his bachelor’s degree, he met and married Debbie Carter September 1987. Two children were born of this union, Kayla Ngozichukwuka and Kendra Ekenedilichukwu.
Paul held various positions with the Department of Aging and Disability Services over his eight years of state services. After his retirement, Paul was a self-employed Austin cab driver for several years until full retirement. After retirement, during his spare time he enjoyed working at the Williamson’s County Tax Office during voting season.
In 2010 he married his wife of 13 years, Juli Eluemuno, where they were both active members of various Nigerian association groups consisting of Ubulu-Uku USA, Ubulu-Uku Development Union’s Houston Chapter, and Austin Community of Friends.
Paul served his family faithfully in numerous ways. He was a loving and devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his daughters and reconnecting with his loved ones by attending special events on special occasions. Paul had such a gentle, kind, and peaceful spirit that impacted numerous people that were blessed to meet him.
On December 12, 2023, Paul heard the Lord’s Call and gained his heavenly wings. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Janet Eluemuno and his two brothers: Frances and Charles.
Paul leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories to his wife, Juli Eluemuno; his two daughters, Kayla Ngozichukwuka Eluemuno and Kendra Ekenedilichukwu Eluemuno; brothers and sisters, Rose Anwuli Eluemuno, Patrick Chukwudi (Merci wife) Eluemuno, Sunday Eluemuno, Angela Eluemuno, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

A funeral service for Paul will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2024 in the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660, followed by the interment in the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
