Paul Daniel Meinscher, 79, passed away on April 3, 2025, in New Braunfels, Texas. Born on February 16, 1946, in Beaumont, Texas, Paul led a life marked by dedication to his family, his many friends, his work, and his country.
A Marine veteran, Paul served during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he co-founded P & M Air Systems, Inc., a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning business that he operated with his wife Millie for 32 years in Austin and the surrounding areas. His commitment to quality and integrity earned the respect of clients and colleagues alike.
Paul cherished time spent with his family, especially his six grandchildren. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Millie Meinscher; daughters Carrie (Alan) Bland and Jessica (Gregory) Snider; and grandchildren Aidan, Andrew, Emily, Grace Barrick, Dylan, and Devyn Snider.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Selma and Oswald A. Meinscher, brothers Gordon Meinscher and Charles "Chuck" Meinscher.
Outside of work and family life, Paul enjoyed fishing—particularly in Alaska—and had a passion for tinkering in his shop and working on many projects. He also embraced recreational flying as a pilot, finding joy in the freedom of flight and the spirit of adventure it brought.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 17, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 14501 N Interstate Hwy 35 in Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A reception will follow at the same location.
