

Phil Rambikur, 67, of Hutto, Texas, went home to be with his Lord, August 20, 2011. He was born July 18, 1944, in Massena, New York, to Anna and Al Rambikur who preceded him to Heaven along with his brothers David Arnold Rambikur and Paul Rogers Rambikur.
He is survived by his wife Audrey; his son Paul and his wife Sara, his son James; his daughter Jana Richards and her husband Will; his two grandchildren, Madison Rambikur and Mason Rambikur; his sister Anne Treadway and husband Lee; and sister-in-law Peggy Rambikur. Phil was the heart of his extended family and community.
Phil completed his degrees at Carson-Newman College and Southwest Texas State University. After serving in Thailand, Germany, and at Bergstrom AFB, he retired from the United States Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel. He taught math at LC Anderson High School and was an administrator at Johnston High School in Austin. In Kaysville, Utah, he taught at Fairfield Junior High, and was a part of the mentor program.
Faithfully Phil served his Lord as a member of High Pointe Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at the church Friday, August 26, at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to High Pointe Baptist Church, 12030 Dessau Road, Austin, TX 78753.
