

Quachita Joyce Wiler of Austin, Texas, peacefully passed away with her family by her side on December 19, 2023, at the age of 78. Born on December 15, 1945, in Snyder, Oklahoma, she moved to California at the age of three, growing up with her sister Linda Jean (Coffelt) Lower and her brother Alton Raymond Coffelt.
Joyce is preceded in death by her father, Henry Curtis Coffelt, and mother, Alma Jo Coffelt. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Holland Wiler III; her son Holland Wiler IV and his wife Margaret Wiler; her daughter Tera Jean Hughey; and seven grandchildren: Meghan Frazier and her husband David Frazier, Dustin Hughey and his wife Jaclyn Hughey, Cameron Hughey and his wife Stephanie Hughey, Jordyn Raemsch and her husband Milam Raemsch, Brooke Webb and her husband Eathan Webb, Tanner Hughey, and Holland Wiler V and his wife Camille Wiler. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren: Hudson Frazier, Cooper Hughey, Brody Hughey, Callum Frazier, Crawford Hughey, Holland Wiler VI, Henry Hughey, Kenedy Raemsch, Hayes Hughey, Archer Raemsch, Magnolia Wiler, and Abigail Hughey.
Joyce's essence was woven into the fabric of her family, where she earned the esteemed titles of the family's rock and #1 Granny. Serving as the enduring heart of the family, Joyce never missed a ball game or cheer-event, standing as a constant pillar of support. She wasn't just a spectator; she was our biggest fan, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. Her warm and inviting nature was nothing short of magical – a special touch that made everyone feel not just welcomed, but truly cherished. Whether it was sharing candy, treats, or wrapping us in her comforting hugs and cheers, Joyce had a unique way of spreading love that will forever linger in our hearts.
Throughout her vibrant life, Joyce wore many hats with grace and skill, excelling as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her professional journey spanned diverse roles, including Sunday School Teacher, Counselor, Teacher's Aid, and Cosmetologist for over 50 years. She also served as a Mortgage Broker, and a Real Estate Broker for almost 30 years, and imparted her knowledge as a TREC certified Real Estate instructor. Over the last 50 years, her and her husband they owned and operated, Wiler’s Tow Service, Vallejo California; El Dorado Supply Company, El Dorado, Kansas; TJ’s Construction, Austin, Texas; Wanderlust Travel, Austin, Texas. Wiler and Associates Real Estate Services, Austin, Texas; and Wiler/Hughey Real Estate Services, Austin, Texas.
At the center of Joyce’s universe was her cherished family, where she reigned as the Queen of their wild circus, effortlessly bringing joy to all. Joyce's presence lit up every room with her generous, spunky, and witty humor. As we bid farewell to Joyce, she leaves behind a legacy of treasured memories that will be cherished for generations to come.
She will be remembered for her enduring love, wisdom, and the indelible impact she had on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the rich tapestry of a life well-lived. Joyce Wiler will live on in our hearts eternally!
