

Born on August 26, 1944, Ralph was the beloved son of Maria Hernandez Leos and Urbano Leos. He lived a life defined by dedication to his family, service to his country, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.
Ralph proudly served in the United States Army and later built a distinguished career as a welder with U.S. Steel and as a Chicago Police Officer. His strong work ethic, integrity, and commitment to serving others left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Lupe Leos; his daughters, Linda Montellano, Laura Garcia, Michele Piwowar, Stephanie Leos, and Melissa Leos; his sister, Amanda Suarez; his grandchildren, Nicole, Maria, Rebecca, Michael, Chris, Taylor, Zachary, and Ashley; and his great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Joshua, Joziah, Mason, Hailey, Carter, and Domenico.
Ralph found happiness in spending time outdoors and with those he loved. He enjoyed photography, fishing, camping, grilling, and playing golf. He also had a passion for music and loved playing the guitar.
His Catholic faith was an important part of his life and provided him with strength, guidance, and community throughout the years. Those who knew Ralph will remember his warm smile, steady presence, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to his family. He cherished family gatherings and created countless memories that will be treasured for generations.
Ralph’s legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the many lives he touched through his kindness, service, and example. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
