Raquela shared 76 years of marriage with her late husband, Timoteo Prieto. Our matriarch had a heart of gold and was a pillar of strength in our family instilling in us love, respect, and perseverance. Some of her greatest joys included sewing, gardening, and family time.
She is preceded in death by her son, Joe Prieto; her grandchildren, Linda, Alex, Lori, and Richard; her three sisters and her two brothers.
Left behind to cherish her legacy are her children: Juan and Margret Prieto, Maria Felan, Anita and Ben Gonzales, Matilde and Ramon Hernandez, Janie Gamez, Jesse Prieto, Enez Prieto, Julie Coyle, Tencha and Juan Cardoza, Chris Prieto, Johnny Prieto, Eva and Mario Calderon, Amelia and David Lambertson, Angie and Victor Martinez, Elaine Cortez, Gracie Cortez. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
