Raymond Richard Farrell loving husband, father, brother was born June 21, 1929, in New Rockford, North Dakota to Frank and Margaret (Mochau) Volbrecht and passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Raymond was retired from the United States Airforce; he worked in Radar Maintenance during his service time. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the VFW Post in Pflugerville. He enjoyed helping out at the church and working in his yard.
He is survived by his devoted wife of over 69 years, Barbara Farrell; children, Christine Canter and husband, Melvin; Sharon Wescott; and Michael Farrell and wife, Pam; grandchildren, Melissa, Barbara, Edward, Renae, Mathew, Audra and James along with great-grandchildren, Gage, Hope, Kaleb, Addison, Amelia and Thomas; sister-in-law, Ann Farrell along with many nieces, nephews and other family members. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Vincent and William Farrell; son-in-law, Thomas Wescott.
Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Friday March 7, 2025 at Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home with burial following with Military Honors. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm with a rosary at 6:00pm.
