Rebecca is preceded in death by her husband of 75 years Alvino Mendoza; Brother, Jesse Torres; Sisters, Ester Acosta (Joe), Josefina Garcia (Moe), six stepbrothers and sisters, grandson, Seth Mendoza, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Oralia Treviňo Mendoza.

Weaver (Robert) San Antonio, TX; Esperanza M. Rosales (Jesús), Austin, TX; Samuel Mendoza, Pflugerville, TX; Benjamin Mendoza (Evangelina) Austin, TX; Caleb Mendoza, Austin, TX; and Seth Mendoza, Sr.; Grandchildren, Tiersa Robisheaux (Justin) San Antonio, TX; Aaron Weaver (Heather) San Antonio, TX; Noemi Alvarado, Buda, TX; Miriam R. Gonzalez (David) Round Rock, TX; James Colunga (Claudia), Austin, TX; Benjamin M. Mendoza, Jr. (Marisa) San Antonio, TX; Daniel M. Mendoza (Christina) San Antonio, TX; Jonathan J. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other beloved extended family members.
Rebecca was a strong, faithful woman of God. A good friend, wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grand mother and great-great grandmother. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, November 29, 2024, in the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, with the Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 am. The interment will immediately follow in the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
