Rita Kay Miller

Rita Kay Wallace Miller was born on April 28, 1957 in Austin, TX. She was called home to be with Jesus on November 2, 2016. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family and loved ones at Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX.

Rita was a long time employee of Austin Community College.

Rita is survived by her husband, Dale Miller, her son, Adam Miller, her daughter, Michelle Miller Casias and her husband Brandon Casias, her mother, Vena Wallace Disch and her step father John Disch, her sisters Marilyn Garrison and Brenda Shelton, her brother in law Ralph Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rita was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Wallace, her sister Darlene Anderson, her brother Kenneth Wallace, and her granddaughter Maci Casias.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Baylor Scott and White Hospital and the special friends and family that have supported them through this difficult time.

In place of flowers, donations can be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association in her memory.
