Robert Harold Cook

Robert Harold Cook, born March 28, 1942, in Davenport, Iowa, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. A devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Robert lived a life defined by service, integrity, and unwavering love for those he cherished.

Robert was married the love of his life, Frances Drusilla Mepham, and together they shared 62 years of beautiful and steadfast marriage. Their life together was a true testament to commitment, partnership, and the enduring strength of family.

A proud patriot, Robert honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after 30 years with the esteemed rank of Chief Master Sergeant. His dedication to service continued into his civilian life through a long and faithful career with the United States Postal Service, where he was known for his hard work, integrity and kindness.

Robert is survived by his sister Sharon Gray, his beloved wife, and his three children: Terry Cook, Tiffany Michael, and Tina Kinsey (and her husband Scott Kinsey.) He was a devoted grandfather to 11 grandchildren (Brandyn, Brandi, Amber, Brittany, Devin, Taylor, Danielle, Ashleigh, Rachell, Natalee, and Trista) and a beloved great-grandfather to 23 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

Above all, Robert devoted his life to his family and his country. His legacy of love, strength, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A visitation will take place at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, located at 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660, on December 7, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will be held at the same venue on December 8, 2025, at 12 PM.

Military honors and burial will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, located at 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660, on December 8, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm.
