He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Huston Thomas, Sr, mother, Madeline Thomas, brother Gerald Patrick Thomas and sister Darlene Reid.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Claragene Thomas, and children, Steve Thomas and Michelle Munson. He also is survived by four adoring grandchildren: Wade Thomas, Clay Thomas, Madeline Munson and Megan Munson.
Bob, as his friends and family knew him, was an outgoing and affectionate man. He saw humor in every situation, even the difficult ones. His easy-going nature endeared him to friends, family and caregivers. He had many longtime friends. Affectionately known as Mr. T by many of his children’s friends, he was a father figure to them and enjoyed spending time with them.
Bob spoke his truth. He loved his wife, Gene, very much. He told her so. He was proud of his children and grandchildren. He told them so. He was at peace.
The family would like to thank Heritage Lakes Senior Living for the care and compassion they showed Bob during his four years as a resident. He felt your love.
