Rodney Keith Johnston

Rodney Keith Johnston passed away on May 4th, 2019 at the age of 62 in Austin, Texas. Rod was born in Tell City, Indiana on August 10, 1956 to James Thomas Johnston and Jeanette Bayless. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs Business School with a MBA and went on to work as a CPA. He married Tien Tran Johnston and had 3 children; Courtney, Nicholas, and Dario. He was an extrovert whose interests were race horses, cars, fitness, and reading. He was a proud father and husband whose warm heart touched all those around him.

Rodney is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tien, and their children; Courtney, Nicholas, and Dario. He is also survived by his father, JT and his wife, Robbie; his sisters Lynn, Suzanne, and Nancy; his brother Landon Johnston; and many nieces and nephews.

The family of the late Rodney Keith Johnston acknowledges with sincere appreciation the comforting messages, floral tributes, and other expressions of kindness during this difficult time. Your support has been very much appreciated and has been of great comfort to the family.

There will be a time of gathering to celebrate Rodney's life on Saturday evening from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home; 14501 N. IH - 35 Pflugerville, Texas 78660. There will be a eulogy recited at 6:30 PM.
